Tour Highlights
Explore the ancient streets of Jaffa, sail across the Sea of Galilee, visit the churches of Nazareth and Bethlehem, stand on the Mount of Olives, walk through Jerusalem’s Old City, and float in the waters of the Dead Sea.
Along the way, visit some of Israel’s most significant Christian and biblical sites, including the Church of the Annunciation, Mount of Beatitudes, Garden of Gethsemane, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Qasr El-Yahud, and the Church of the Nativity.
The Journey
This is sample itinerary. All itineraries can be tailored to your group’s interests, passions and needs.
Day 1 — Welcome to Israel
Arrive in Israel and meet your local team before beginning your journey in ancient Jaffa. Visit St. Peter’s Church, explore the historic port city, and enjoy time along the Mediterranean before settling into your hotel.
Overnight: Tel Aviv
Day 2 — Northern Exploration
Travel north to Caesarea, once the seat of the Roman procurator of Judea. Continue to Haifa for views of the Bahá’í Gardens and a visit to the Carmelite Church of Stella Maris.
End the day in Acre, where you’ll explore the remarkable subterranean Crusader Quarter.
Overnight: Northern Coast or Tel Aviv
Day 3 — Where Jesus Walked
Travel to Nazareth and visit the Church of the Annunciation, with the opportunity for Mass.
Continue to Cana of Galilee and Mount Tabor before reaching Tiberias. End the day with a peaceful boat ride across the Sea of Galilee.
Overnight: Tiberias
Day 4 — The Life & Miracles of Jesus
Explore the Galilee, beginning with Capernaum and the Mount of Beatitudes.
Visit Tabgha and the Church of the Multiplication before continuing north toward Banias and ancient Caesarea Philippi.
Complete the day with a visit to a winery in the Golan Heights.
Overnight: Tiberias
Day 5 — From Jericho to Jerusalem
Travel south through the biblical landscapes of the Jordan Valley.
Visit Beit Shean before continuing to Qasr El-Yahud, the traditional site of Jesus’ baptism by John the Baptist. Pass Jericho, the Mount of Temptation, and the Monastery of St. George.
Arrive in Jerusalem and begin your experience of the city from the Mount of Olives.
Overnight: Jerusalem
Day 6 — The Old City of Jerusalem
Begin at the Chapel of the Ascension before visiting Dominus Flevit and the Garden of Gethsemane.
Enter Jerusalem’s Old City to experience the Western Wall, Temple Mount, and Dome of the Rock. Continue to the Pool of Bethesda and the remains of the Antonia Fortress.
Conclude the day at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
Overnight: Jerusalem
Day 7 — The Days of the Prophets
Visit the Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book, home to the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Continue toward the biblical landscapes associated with Samson and the Philistines before visiting Hebron and the Tomb of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs.
Overnight: Jerusalem
Day 8 — The Dead Sea
Ascend Masada and explore the remains of the dramatic mountaintop fortress overlooking the Judean Desert.
Continue to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, before enjoying time floating in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea—the lowest point on Earth.
Overnight: Dead Sea
Day 9 — Bethlehem & Jerusalem
Visit Bethlehem, including the Church of the Nativity and Shepherds’ Field.
Return to Jerusalem to explore Mount Zion, the Upper Room, the Tomb of King David, and the House of Caiaphas at St. Peter in Gallicantu.
Continue to Ein Kerem, traditionally recognized as the birthplace of John the Baptist, and visit the Church of the Visitation.
Overnight: Jerusalem
Day 10 — Tel Aviv & Departure
Return to Tel Aviv for a final taste of the city.
Walk its lively streets and enjoy its markets, Mediterranean coastline, restaurants, and historic neighborhoods before concluding your journey.
